I am a pozzie but I am still me

Don't avoid me because I have HIV, we can still hug, eat together, shake hands, and even kiss each other on the cheeks....

Don't say I cannot love someone else anymore because I have HIV, I still have feelings....

Don't say sex is a no-no for me because I have HIV, I am still human and my libido is still intact....

Don't pity me because I have HIV, I am still "normal" and can be productive like anyone else....

And lastly, don't take it against me for being careless and contracting HIV, it was a lapse of personal judgment and what i need the most is love, understanding and acceptance. :)

  1. As much as I like to comment on each of your blog posts because I find each post on point (sa title pa lang alam na), I am hurrying to backread because I am learning substantial information from your blogs. Iba kasi kapag nagbabasa ka on a scientific or technical perspective about HIV compared dun sa taong nakakaranas na nun. You got me hooked because I am learning a lot and I like your writing style. Just the right length, sufficient to convey your main message. -RV

  2. Di pa ko tapos. Pardon 'coz I am comfy reading your blog on my phone while lying on my back.

    About this part:

And lastly, don't take it against me for being careless and contracting HIV, it was a lapse of personal judgment and what i need the most is love, understanding and acceptance. :)

Sa una, yes, I was among those that have this 'stigma' out of fear na ma-contract ang HIV from those carrying it already. Pero naisip ko kanina pa sa mga 2010 blog posts mo, nung dinidetalye mo yung adverse side effects ng ARV treatment while your body is adjusting to it - lahat naman ng tao may sexual desire. Once fulfilled and released, okay na dapat di ba? Let us put religious bigots' perspective on what sex should be dahil on the bottom line masarap ang sex between two persons who are two consenting adults.

Ang tanong ko, ganito ba dapat kabigat ang kapalit ng sandaling magrelease ng sexual tension? There are 'crimes' of greater severity like pagpatay ng tao and pagnanakaw, pero why does sex be just sex? A person's desire and need to have intimacy and love regardless of gender of preference?
